I am a life-long democrat. I moved from Albuquerque to Valencia County in 1996 (Adelino) with my husband and son. I started work at Kirtland Air Force Base in 1973 as a clerk-typist. Because of an Upward Mobility Program, I trained in computers and retired as a Network Administrator in 2008.

Federal employees must be very careful working in partisan politics. Luckily, I retired just in time to begin working on President Obama’s campaign with the Valencia County Democratic Party and have been volunteering ever since.
